Two brothers opened a fifteen-seater takeaway in Tooting in 2004. 22 years on, the kitchen still answers to the same four rules.
Our chefs use age-old cooking methods to bring bold, comforting flavours to life. Nothing arrives from a bag; the sizzle you hear is the plate on its way.
We source through our own supply chain, championing 100% British meat and produce and halal integrity at every step. We have run a zero-waste policy since 2017.
Everything we serve is rooted in tradition and made to be enjoyed together. Each dish takes you on a journey, evoking a sense of nostalgia while offering something new.
No foam, no tweezers, no reinventing a dish that was already right. The room is loud, the portions are honest and the food does the talking.

Cooked to order in the pan it arrives in, so the sauce keeps reducing on the way to the table. Order it for the table, not for yourself.
Sundays only, from 10am. Halwa puri, nihari and paya, the way a Lahore morning actually starts.
Our story
Two brothers came to London at the start of the millennium, carrying the comforting, aromatic dishes their mother had cooked for them. In 2004 they opened a fifteen-seater takeaway on Upper Tooting Road. Suleman ran the kitchen. Nasir ran everything else.
22 years later that takeaway is two restaurants, one of the UK's leading South Asian caterers, a hotel and banqueting venue, and a halal supply chain we own end to end. The recipes have not moved.
Recognition
